Easter Activity For Families - Resurrection Rolls
Posted on April 4th, 2014

How would you like a delicious way for you and the kids in your life to celebrate and learn about the resurrection of Jesus? If so, then "resurrection rolls" are the way to go!
What is a resurrection roll, you ask? A resurrection roll consists of crescent roll, marshmellow, butter, cinnamon and sugar. The marshmallow, representing Jesus, is rolled in the sugar and cinnamon, wrapped in the crescent roll (the tomb), and baked. Of course, the marshmallow melts in the oven and the tomb is empty when the baking is done! Jesus is risen!

.    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
.    Separate crescent rolls into individual triangles.
.    In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and sugar.
.    Dip a marshmallow into melted butter, then roll in sugar mixture. Place marshmallow into the center of a dough triangle. Carefully wrap the dough around the marshmallow. Pinch the seams together tightly to seal in marshmallow as it melts. Place on a baking sheet. Repeat.
.    Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
