Here at the Bridge, we're always looking for new ways to engage as well as serve our community. During this Christmas Season, we, as a church, will have an opportunity to do both. As we celebrate this time of year together, let us love our neighbors by engaging with them and serving those who need it most.

Christmas in Art Contest

Draw a picture of what Christmas means to you and enter your artwork for a chance to win one of four possible prizes!
Age groups are: 3-6 year olds, 7-11 year olds, and 12-17 year olds.
Prizes: One contestant in each age group will be selected at random to win a $25 Target Gift Card. A Grand Prize $50 Target Gift Card will be awarded to the
               contestant who receives the most "Likes" on the church's Facebook page. (
To enter, please submit your artwork by any of the following three ways:
  1. Bring your artwork to church on a Sunday morning.
  2. Submit your artwork by emailing a picture or scan to Be sure to include your name, age, and contact information.
  3. Upload your artwork directly to the church's Facebook page and write an email to with contact information.
The contest will be open from 11/25/16 to 12/25/16 and the winners will be announced the week after Christmas.

Santa's Workshop

The Bridge is partnering with the Cary YMCA and Santa's Workshop to provide a Christmas shopping opportunity to families in need!
Involving parents and guardians in the celebration of finding that perfect gift for their son or daughter honors families and strengthens community relationships. The toy the child has asked for will be set aside for the parents to select and they will be able to shop for additional toys and clothes for $1-$3 each at Santa's Workshop. This will be take place on Saturday, December 17th at the Cary YMCA. Signups to volunteer to serve at Santa's Workshop can be found HERE.

This year, we will partner with underserved families in the community to make a mutual investment in the gift giving process. Children's needs and wishes will be available on Sundays at church for us provide for. Gifts can then be returned to Brad Emory on Sundays at the Bridge by 12/11 or brought directly to the Cary YMCA.

When bringing your gifts to the YMCA, please take the gift to the Welcome Desk and have them checked-in. Unwrapped gifts should be dropped off at the Welcome Center at the YMCA on or before Monday, December 12th.
